Cozy cowl done & tutorial I watched!

I bought this lush, toasty yarn and finally found the perfect project to show off it's beauty -- just love the happy colors!

The V stitch is perfect for that! And when I saw Fiber Flux’s video...BINGO! She called it the Copenhagen cowl which I love because I love Denmark, I’m part Danish and my sister lives there.

Yarn: Cloud Yarn Co. Marshmallow merino bulky (100% super wash merino) — I found this dyer on Etsy...and turns out she's from the Twin Cities!!! I used 2 skeins (100g/106yds)

Hook: L (8 mm)

For the V stitch (double crochet, chain 1, double crochet), you need to chain in a multiple of 3. I chained 60 stitches.

Just love how this cowl worked up and it's quick! I made it in a few hours. It has a nice drape, slouchy and warm.

Here's the tutorial from Fiber Flux:

P.S. I got my earrings from Reb’s Rainbow Haus and I LOVE THEM!!!!! She makes the coolest acrylic jewelry! My Christmas tree is still up so figured earrings are fair game too (although you know that wouldn't stop me LOL!)! Wore them on a walk with my son today :)

If you make a cowl like mine, let me know! I'd love to see it. Tag me: @lexandthecities

Happy hooking!
