Making masks for family and friends // how to sew them VIDEO

Here’s how I make my masks! 

And here’s a few things I’ve learned since making this video:

1. I like 1/8 inch elastic best (vs. 1/4 inch or bigger that others have recommend) — I find it to be more comfortable and doesn’t pull your ears forward

2. Elastic headbands works great! You can make one mask per band. I ran out of elastic on a couple occasions and these were a great substitute and they look cute too — you can get them in glitter and fun colors.

3.  If possible, use a rotary cutter — it makes it so much easier!
